Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 BSP for the TI OMAP-L138/AM1808 based Hawkboard

 

Binary image now available for free evaluation.

• Provides a pre-configured binary image for NAND boot configurations and demonstrates many features of the Hawkboard with Windows Embedded CE6.0.
• The binary evaluation image includes an SDK. This can be installed to allow application development against the target platform using Visual Studio.
• Please register and accept the 'click-through' evaluation binary image licence agreement to download.

Full source code available for custom designs

• Subject to source license agreement and fee (one license per design, royalty free)
• A low-cost ($500) commercial licence including 5 incidents / 30 calendar days technical support

Board Support Package

MPC Data is pleased to offer a Windows Embedded CE 6.0 R3 Board Support Package (BSP) for the low cost OMAP-L138/AM1808 based Hawkboard, including a full range of quality drivers to enable a rapid start-up for your Hawkboard based product.

This latest BSP release (V1.1) introduces additional configuration options and more flexibility with supporting the SoC peripherals on the Hawkboard, plus a few bug fixes. Existing customers are encouraged to download the latest release through their MyMPC account to take advantage of this new capability. We have also put together a new BSP Configuration Guide to help with the PINMUX possibilities.

Please note: With the latest hardware revision of the Hawkboard, the manufacturer has introduced some BOM changes which are currently affecting the boot and operating stability of OSes. Please see our Hawkboard FAQ page for more details.
